In a little while

No matter how dark the night gets, the morning is always waiting right there on the other side.

To a child, the well may look endless, but the rope can be long enough for the bucket to hit the bottom.

A child being pushed in a swing may think she’s being thrown to the clouds, but the adult pushing knows that it’s not more than a few feet high.

No matter how big a bottle of water is, one day, there will only be the last drop left.

A journey, regardless of how long it is, will end eventually.

Nothing ever lasts forever, even though it right now feels like it will.

There are times when you will be between the devil and the deep blue sea, sometimes between a rock and a hard place.

During those times, there are 4 things you can do – one after the other, or all at once if you like;

  1. Close your eyes
  2. Take a deep breath
  3. Let go
  4. Let God.

    In the 'morning', you will come out on the other side!
    In the ‘morning’, you will come out on the other side!

  1. Too true, gives you perspective doesn’t it? I think sometimes you even need God in the picture to realise you need to do steps 1-3 in the first place. And I’m reading step 4 as “walk up to God, give it to Him, walk away”…

    1. It certainly gives a lot of perspective. And you’re right….the starting point is always Him – we live, move and have our being in Him afterall! Thanks Rinnah
